Smackdown: Paige vs Sasha Banks

Smackdown: Paige vs Sasha Banks

This week on Smackdown we got another great match from Sasha Banks and Paige. Even though it's becoming repetitive, the consistent good matches that are being churned out by this mini feid can't be anything but positive.
The match began with Tamina, Naomi, Charlotte and Becky being forced to leave ringside after a mini brawl. Once the bell rung the match began promptly with Paige spearing Sasha and going for the pin, in which Sasha kicked out at two. Paige then went for a roll up, and Sasha kicked out at one. Next came a backslide from Paige, which Sasha kicked out from at one again. Sasha then reversed this and went for a backslide herself, which got Paige down for one. Sasha then threw Paige into the ropes, and Paige went for a unset flip, which got Sasha down for a one count. Sasha then received a knee to the face, which got her down for one. Sasha then rolled out of the ring for a breather, but received a rolling senton from Paige. Paige then threw Sasha back into the ring, but received a kick to the head, knocking her off the mat.
After commercials we get back into the ring with Sasha in control. She smashes Paige's face into the turnbuckle and gives her three kicks to the stomach. Sasha then pulls Paige from the corner and pins her for a two count. Sasha then chokes her on the bottom rope and then goes for the double knees. Paige kicks out at two. Sasha then locks in a choke hold on Paige, and slams her on to the mat. Paige again kicks out at two. Sasha then takes Paige to the corner again, throwing her face into it, and choking her her with her foot. Paige kicks out at two. Sasha locks in another choke hold. Sasha then threw Paige into the corner, but ended up running into an elbow, leading to Paige taking control, with a knee to the face and two superkicks. Sasha kicked out at two. Sasha then slapped Paige across the face, leading to a huge brawl between the two, ending the match with a disqualification. All of the team members come down to the ring, along with two refs to help break them up. This was a great segment.

As I said on my Raw review, I love the fact that their is a second divas feud, and I do believe this feud will get a PPV match. On monday I made a bold prediction that these two will be fighting over the returning Women's Championship, and I am sticking to my guns. I think this revolution is finally going to properly take action, and hopefully change women's wrestling in WWE permanently.
I will give this match a score of 8/10.

Thank you for reading.
